Caitlyn Jenner to appear on magazine cover naked with gold medal

Bruce Jenner was on Wheaties cereal boxes and displayed across television screens after winning the gold medal at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, decades before coming out as a transgender woman named Caitlyn.

Fast forward to 2015 and she appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair in only lingerie.

Bruce Jenner: ‘Call me Caitlyn’

Now, she’ll appear on another magazine cover – except this time she’ll reportedly be naked, draped in the American flag, and wearing the gold medal from those Olympics.

That gold medal sits at the bottom of her makeup drawer.

The 66-year-old Jenner will celebrate the 40th anniversary of her gold medal and the setting of the world record in the decathlon by appearing in Sports Illustrated. It will be the first time she’s posed with her medal post-transition.

“She’s excited about that,” a source told US Weekly magazine.

“I never wanted my kids to feel like they had to have a gold medal in order to be considered a success,” Jenner wrote in an August 2015 blog post. “I didn’t want them to constantly compare their own achievements to my time in the Olympics so I haven’t displayed my medal.”

Donald Trump said Caitlyn Jenner could use the women’s room at his buildings, so she did

Oddly enough, Jenner won’t be the first one to don the medal naked. In 2007, her former wife, Kris, stripped to a pair of gold heels and wore the medal and a flag, not an American one, during the first season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” in an attempt to help Jenner’s stepdaughter Kim decide to pose for Playboy.
